Selecting Pet Insurance

Pets are a member of the family and ensuring they are healthy and happy is something that is important to pet owners. Keeping your pet healthy is the key to pet happiness and keeping your pet healthy can be expensive, especially if your pet encounters a serious injury or sickness.
That’s where pet insurance comes in. Pet insurance was designed to help you manage the costs associated with expensive pet treatments and give you peace of mind. If your pet has a serious injury or illness, the bill can rise into the thousands of dollars. Pet insurance will help you offset some of the costs associated with treatment.
Before choosing pet insurance, it’s important to understand what is included in the policy and what is excluded. There are a big range of pet insurance options and you don’t want to be left cold and dry by finding out something is not covered by your policy.
Generally pet insurance covers surgery, hospitalisation and medicines. Other treatment such as dental care and vaccinations aren’t usually included. Making a claim will require an excess of usually $100. You can determine the level of coverage required for your pet, but like regular insurance, the more cover you want, the more expensive the policy will be.

Catch Group implementing Robots

Catchhas increased in popularity, especially during lockdown, and now they’ve taken a big leap forward in technology by implementing robots at it’s distribution centre. Catch Group is a part of the Wesfarmers Group and their growth has meant that the company has decided to invest in increased capacity by up to 40 per cent.
The increase in capacity for Catch will be achieved by implementing 100 mobile robots at their Truganina distribution centre in Melbourne, Victoria. The robots are developed and manufactured by German Logistics company, Korber. The new robots will allow the picking of 2000 extra orders an hour and allow them an hold an additional 80,000 stock keeping units taking their capacity to over 1 million.
The robots look similar to vacuum cleaners and move around the distribution centre picking up the required shelves then carrying it to a human picker at a station. The picker picks the required goods from the shelf and places it into the totes that get taken away on conveyor belts. The robots have a high degree of flexibility allowing Catch to make adjustments according to their needs.
As demand grows for their products Catch Group is looking to expand capacity further with possible new distributions centres in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. The new capacity is there to meet the demand of approximately 30,000 new customers each week.
